It's been how long?

So, it's been a while since I blogged.  I have just been busy.  I did find a way to ease the time demands on my life a bit.  Since I have not been doing well with my soaps at market and spending the day in the heat just sitting there was getting to me, I spoke with a friend of mine.  I sat at market for her last year to sell her produce for her.  She is selling my soap for me this year along with her produce.  She'll get a 25% cut.  (The soap is $4.00/bar and she keeps $1.00 for herself for doing this for me.)  I know it doesn't sound like much, but she is more talented than me and it will add up.  She also decided to put them out at her produce stand at her home.  I thought that was very sweet of her.  Since she does use my soap, she can also give personal testimony.

Anyway, that frees up two days to do more stuff around here.  And, it gives me time to study more for my First Responder class.  We have four more chapters to cover plus skills.  I do have to wonder who they are going to bring in for "Emergency Childbirth" skills.  I do have to warn my children to quit forcing me to put my skills to the test.  We cover head trauma and Hannah decides to fall on her head.  What's next?  Mass casualty incident?  Yeesh!

About my other two children.  The ones I found on facebook.  I have decided to not contact them yet.  The youngest is 16.  The oldest just turned 18 a few months ago.  (She was born the day Waco burned.  Her 2nd birthday was the Oklahoma City bombing.)  I will wait until the youngest is 18.  Yes, I am a coward.  I also have valid fears.

The roof is being opened up right now to raise it up for the girls' room.  They will have one large room instead of two small lofts.  This should only take a few days.  Once this is done, we can start work on the extension.  I'm excited.

I'm glad you are being safe about your other two kids. I worry for you.

That's great that you and your friend help each other. (the soaps)

As for blogging, I understand what you mean. My only writing in the last year as been facebook. :-S I started back my journal on the 15 (of july), 2 entry. I need to be regular. Writing really helps, may it be journaling or blogging.

I enjoy reading you my dear, here and where we share our daily life. You are precious to me.
