I am thankful

I am thankful for friends who I can drop in on with little to no notice and have them not care. Or have them come here unannounced, see a pile of laundry waiting to be put away, dishes in the sink, me cranky, and it's ok.

I am thankful for a husband who loves me enough to let me nap on a Sunday afternoon (or any other time I need one) and straightens the kitchen if it needs it. Who stays by my side through happy times and stormy times. Who knows when to hug and when to hide.

I am thankful for my children who try my patience and wait for that perfect opportunity to smile and say "I love you, Mommy" (probably more in the interest of self-preservation.) They are healthy, happy, strong, and love to learn.

I am thankful for my church and the love that is there. For the leadership and guidance.

I am thankful for all the blessings that God has given me.
