Ho-ho-ho

Christmas is in two days and I am done.  I have seen more people these past few days than I have seen in all of the Ozarks the entire time we've lived there.  This includes the trips to Branson when we have to go there for the VA appointments.

In other Christmas news, all wrapping is done.  Thankfully, we don't get big into the commercialism of it and just get a few things that people will enjoy.  Three gifts each for the children, a couple of things for SIL, something for my SIL and her husband from Ohio.  I also got a few can openers for a friend of mine so that I don't slice my hand open again while there.

I also got a few things for a friend of mine and his family that live in Philly.  Although our families have not yet met face-to-face, I felt like they needed some goofy gifts.  They had a crappy few months and although I did include a Christmas card with the package, the package itself isn't so much about Christmas as it is about relaxing, having fun, being silly, and taking a few moments to remember to enjoy life in the midst of chaos and insanity.

Anyway, the children are decorating the tree and Christmas movies are on.  So, I am going to get going.
