Delayed

We have delayed our departure by 12 to 24 hours due to the wedding and not wanting to take the chance of driving tired. We had originally planned on leaving at 10:00 tonight and driving through the night. While night driving is not a huge issue (much less traffic and easier to have the three vehicles each towing something stay together) embarking on the journey after an already full, fun, exhausting day does not make for safe driving conditions.

With the exception of toiletries, pillows, and last minute items, the household stuff is packed. I even have the canner and the other 40 quart stock pot. The crockpot and loaf pan are packed along with flour, yeast, baking powder, baking soda, seasonings, more food, towels, blankets, clothes, the lenses, large mirror, and a myriad of other things that we will need.

K and T are packing up their things and will come on over later to help load some of the heavier items we have here like the generator and fencing stuff that was taken down and stacked the other day. Animals will get locked up tonight when they all come in and they will get loaded tomorrow.

Three vehicles each towing something. This will be interesting. One thing is for sure. The children will be somewhat separated. Charlie will be with me. The girls will be with Husband. B will be with his parents.
