Wonderful Week-end

I had a wonderful day yesterday visiting with new friends. Charlie's scout leader and his family came over yesterday for what was supposed to be a couple of hours to hang out and get to know each other and they ended up staying through supper and after. They ware wonderful people who I look forward to hanging out with again. Charlie and their son hit it off very well despite a few bumps and bruises. When they were leaving, Bethany was chasing their son (3rd grader to give you an idea of age) yelling "Hug and kiss! Hug and kiss!" He was running from her for all his worth. I did tease him a little bit. I do need to work with Bethany on the concept that not everyone is as affectionate as she is and not everyone likes hugs and kisses and she needs to respect that.
.
Today, we had a very early church service along with our other two services. We kept Hannah home because she was not feeling well. I stayed home with her for the 6:00am service and Husband called at 8:30. He was not feeling well and said he was coming home so I would go back with Charlie and Bethany for the rest of the services and finish out our church day. No sooner had Husband walked in the door than he ran to the bathroom and vomited. The stomach virus just won't let go of him.
.
I cancelled weather class for tomorrow. It's a public school holiday (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and quite frankly, I'm tired. I got a call this evening. A friend of mine who is also a nursing mom is sick with possible pneumonia so my cancelling class for tomorrow works out well. If she goes to the doctor tomorrow, I am available to look up medications and if she doesn't, I can go to the store and get her some stuff.
.
Tuesday is a LLL meeting and there is going to be a leader meeting after the meeting. We're going to discuss future meetings, the status of the LLL library, and how to keep LLL meetings going locally.
