Weigh Day

I went to Weight Watchers tonight and I gained 1.4 pounds.  Not a surprise.  What is a surprise is that last week I didn't wear my jacket and tonight I did.  My jacket, empty, weighs 2 pounds 5.2 ounces.  All the stuff in my pockets weighed 14.75 ounces.  I weighed it all when I got homes on my food scale.  Did I really gain?  Who knows.  I know that next week I am stripping down.  (Ok, so I will remember to remove my jacket.)

I did talk with the leader about my concerns and she seems to be a local/natural/whole foods foodie herself and she did make a very good point.  A cup of processed flour vs. a cup of whole wheat flour.  Which one packs a healthier punch?  I had told her of all the changes we had made over the years to get my husband healthier than he was and off of much of his medications.  Knowing that how we eat is healthy, when looking at the points, it didn't feel like it anymore even though I know otherwise.  She agrees that what I eat is healthy and that "fake foods" are definitely not healthy and I should not change that.

She wants me to write down everything that I eat this week and she will go over it with me next week.  Hopefully, we can shed some light on my diet.  She did say that I shouldn't mess with my coffee.  That no one should have to do that.
