PICTURES!

Our water tank being filled.  Charlie climbs to the top to put the hose in it and makes sure it doesn't fall out.  He then pulls the hose when done and puts the cap back on loosely to prevent caving in of the container from vacuum pressure.  He loves doing this.  This is a "big job" that his sisters are not allowed to do.

Laundry day at the lake.  I wash and they play.  Sometimes they will pitch in and help when they think it is fun.  I don't require it of them.  I just require that they do not take the clean clothes and drag them through the mud and clay.

This is one of many grape vines on our property and one of several in our immediate yard.  I am hoping to be able to harvest them next year and maybe even be able to train them to grow where I can reach them.

This is the end (or beginning if you are leaving) of our driveway.  It is half a mile long with just over half being an easement through someone else's property.  As of right now, there is no other way in our out other than on foot.  It is also really easy to get lost.  Ask me how I know?

Ha, ha, did Bethany have a big air bubble in her skirt? We can call her bubble bottom!

How will that road be in the winter? Will you be kind of stuck in there when the snow is deep?

The lane looks pretty.

Mary-Katherine wants to ask a question: When you do your laundry and baths in the lake, do you worry about the pollution caused by the laundry soap and bath soap? Will it hurt the fish, turtles, water birds, and other water creatures?

Lisa - I have no idea how the roads will be. I do know our truck has 4WD and pretty good clearance as well as excellent tires. So being stuck due to snow is not a worry of ours. And if we do get stuck, we will just hunker down for winter.

Mary-Katherine - Very good questions. No, the soap will not harm the aquatic life. Although I was wishing the soap would have made the fish and crawdads go away when we were doing the laundry the other day, they still hung around. Apparently, we taste good to them. They kept nipping at our legs and ankles.

How do you know about getting lost?
This question comes from someone that is directionally challenged.
