Normally, we don't. That is we don't and won't go to public beaches, pools, etc. However, swimming is a necessary survival skill especially when we have a large lake around us and we do plan on fishing both on a boat and on shore. That said, we swam like any other conservative nut would in cold water on a 90 degree day. We wore our clothes. Yes, I tried to teach my children to swim while wearing a skirt. The girls wore their skirts as well. And, Charlie wore his pants.
