FREEDOM!

I am not posting this from behind bars. I am posting this from the comfort of my own home. While this is not over yet, I am thankful that I am not in jail even though the person sitting on the bench told me I very well could be. I am going to the public defender's office tomorrow and and have a new court date for May. The public defender is in on Wednesdays only.
.
Meanwhile, I need to make a cake and cupcakes. I am going to joyfully get going on those starting tonight. I am feeling tons better, but am still anxious to get this court mess done and over with.
.
After M's wedding on Saturday, we will be leaving for Arkansas. Not for a camping trip, but to actually move down there. We won't be moving all at once and will be going back and forth quite a bit over the summer, but by fall will be settled down there.
.
I will be coming back for Charlie's well-child visit later this month. I will be coming back for the court case. We will be coming back to get stuff moved down there. We will be taking the animals with us Saturday night. Snowball and (if he makes it) Henry will be going to a donkey rescue. The pygmy is going to a new home. The rest are coming with us. So, for a while, we will have dual residency.
.
Yes, even with the move, I will be following through with the child support. Land is cheap. The place is beautiful. And this move has been a dream in the making for years and years.

Wow, congrats. Arkansas is absolutely beautiful, I've wanted to live there myself. Hope the move goes as smoothly as possible.
